I don’t see many of these early 90 ones around. The OG setup is good but I liked it with the swept comfy bars setup.

Randoms from the garage (recently gifted some).
-Yeti Big Top built as a mnt bruiser.
-Custom Lynskey (pre-Nantucket).
Changed to FSA Metropolis bar (I was on the design/testing team).
-Not “old” but prototype that didn’t make it to production cause who would ever buy a Fargo? (only 2 made - 1 flat bar and 1 drop). Raleigh Webster

Oh, I’m always looking for a 1991 Shogun Ground Breaker (2 tone blue w/ pink graphics). Was all XT w/ 700x45 Smokes.
Had when new - loaned to a friend and he never returned.

1993 Ridgeback 503GS, bit of a slow burner as had it over 15 months!
Tange double butted frame, built up with a mixture of mid nineties parts, mainly XT and LX, with 700 x 40c tyres.
Sticking with flat bars, but may still change the stem and bars, we shall see.

Yup, not entirely happy with the look, certainly that is an option

now I'm a tad confused over these, are they on a 700c rim? and is it the royal / randonneur 531 frame or is a 531 arb frame like a thunder road with custom road forks for the canti`s? I missed out on one if these last year. I got a nice 501 mk1 mirage and mk2 Avanti, but fancied something for touring and south Wales roads are as mean as starmers dish water! and a normal road bike ? X 2 for an old fatty like me, isn't low geared enough. these would be a SUPERBE Raleigh.. pun intended lol
