Picked this up recently, a 1997 Trek UAV 1. Someone really tricked it out, 8 speed XTR groups set, except XT rear hub, trek front I believe.
With a sprinkle of Chris King, Hope, Salsa and X-lite.
Hardly used, only fault broken satellite shifter cable.
Also first foray into XTR and Chris King for me!
However will be stripped and the wheels a perfect for another build I have going.
I do like the brushed finish and jointed lugs and would like to do something with the frame, but does have a high bottom bracket, something like 20mm higher than other 90's hybrids I have. Certainly makes getting on and off interesting! We shall see.
