The 700c Manitou looks good, especially mounted at one of the bikes we're talking in this thread...
There is a DB Overdrive in Germany with it, in combination with 2.1 MTB tires a real old 29er...

The Manitou 700c has 2 model years. Model 1 is 1993 (internal loaded) like the Manitou 2 and M Sport.
Bit later there was one more updated variation which was top loaded (like M3, M4, M COMP etc) and got these horrible and making it super cheapo looking red/black plastic dials on the stanchion like the Manitou Mach 5 for example.

And another nice one. This was my favourite colour in a bike ever, I had to sell because it was too small for me or my wife. Beautiful metallic purple 1995 Trek 750, the European "Trekking" version with mudguards and lights. I´d love to find one in a 21"

And since I am digging in my archive of previous bikes, another one. 1996 Trek 750, got it in very poor condition and fixed it up. I had to sell when we did our South America tour in 2022 and had no place to store it. Also the "Trekking" version.

Lastly, I am selling this one locally right now. I believe a 1997 although I can´t find any online confirmation, Specialized Crossroads Elite. Already the aluminium version, but before they did the ugly curved top tube.
