I have waxoyl and supertrol - st is defo the better option for a frame :D

Try searching my name and supertrol, posted about it a few times and there are some pics of the bear valley forks getting treated on my build thread :D

Re:

I use Dinitrol AV5. I spray it hot from a pressure pot and it flows like thin paint,
I will do my frames with it and I can't imagine I will add much weight.

I will risk galvanising my vent panel, when I get round to making it;-)

I settled for zinc primer. There is also the further problem of a galvanised vent panel causing other steel and Ali parts to corrode away quicker.

So I better strip the galv from the window frame and cappings?

Is very thick compared to the products above ;-)

It will last longer then wont it ;)

Not nessasarily as it only protects the places it can get to ;-) and it will add more weight

Don't get me wrong, I like waxoyl and user it on cars - but supertrol is more searching, thinner, drains easier and ultimately, sets just as waxy after a few days and when the excess has drained.

I have both so I am not brand loyal.

If you havent bought yet, check your local car shop - although it was a few years ago, pretty sure mine was cheaper than that ?
