Unfortunately, like the obituaries that are on the are A.I. generated on Facebook, that's not true. I've known Jez for just over 30yrs from the late bmx days in Sunderland to his heydays in mtb and onwards. The news was out in his inner circle of friends and family early on and as mentioned in the linked article from STW, his 'demons' finally got the better of him unfortunately.

Very sad news. Saw his show last here at Whitby Regatta. Stunning, he made it look so easy. RIP mate, thank you for the inspiration.
