Still only riding retro ATM but I do keep looking at a modern Sant Cruz and thinking should I. A top end retro with a capable rider should still cut it on all but the gnarliest of trails and provide more feedback to the rider.

This will be the last time I will be able to answer this question with a yes. :-( I currently ride a Marin Quake 9 retromod, I have had it since new in 1997 and its been my main bike since. But time has finally caught up with it, and I will be replacing it with a new bike soon. I will be keeping it, but only using it on occasion.

I'm looking forward to a new bike, but I will miss the Quake, she looks so good! ;-)
