Raleigh Gran Sport 1983 - Bringing it back from the dead

I walk and mount by/from the non-drive side, but I place all my wheel decals to be read from the side I mainly photograph from, namely the drive side...

Definitely from the drive side. If you are interested enough to want to read the rim label then you want to be looking at the transmission components too.

Well - thanks for the opinions. I ended up going with the suggestion of making sure it all reads the right way up from the drive side - this matches the GP4s on my other bikes too!

February 2021 Update - I have dropped the frame off with Catherine at Universal Cycle Centre for a repaint in the original colour and have dropped the forks off to be rechromed in Nottingham.

This project is now beginning to cost serious £ but hopefully the end result will be worth it!!

Just to give you an idea of some of the other stuff that I have had to buy for this build... none of which comes cheap!
