Gutted my friend just gave me brand new a pair of Vitoria gravel tyres 35mm not enough clearance. So back to the drawing board. I think 30mm is the winner. Any recommendations on a gravel tyre?

Challenge Strada Bianca. Not the cheapest and not the most hard-wearing, but the ride is very nice, both on gravel and on tarmac.

A slightly more sensible option is the Panaracer Pasela. Also an excellent tyre.

First proper ride yesterday to see how she feels. Need a bit of adjustment to take some weight out the wrists and gatorskins didn’t feel very nice on the gravel canal either very happy so far though. Just need to put the new crankset on (no tool)

That looks spiffy!

Adjusting your saddle to a more level position will probably be more comfortable and take some weight off your hands. It may take a few rides and some experimenting to get the setup right.
