Raleigh Dyna-Tech 1992 Adrian Timmis

My recently acquired Dyna-Tech from @Rkmonty75. Is a EX Raleigh Team bike as ridden by Adrian Timmis which is believed to have been used in the 1992 race season. Hopefully by starting this thread I will find out a little more about this bikes history and hopefully decide a route to go with this great piece of 90’s MTB history

Made a few little touch up’s and found Ral 5005 Signal Blue a close match. Also started a bit of maintenance stripped and inspected headset and it’s fair to say it’s seen better days so a good clean and some fresh grease for now next up is the hope front hub bearings

My next job to tackle is the front hub bearing Anyone have any idea of the size of bearings used in the hope titanium front hubs

6001 or 609 depending on model

Thanks I will have to have a look i don’t think there’s a model number on the hub ? Just says hope titanium

There will usually be a code on the press fit bearings themselves ..you probably have to remove them to find it though.
