Raleigh ???? commuter machine - tidy up and ride.

ill attempt to strip the paint back after work tomorrow if I have time, working long hours tomorrow so it may be Tuesday when it gets done. I am itching to do it but just don't have much time to do it.

Who is this 'odd' forum member Ian?!Aren't we all a bit 'odd' in here??!! (My wife thinks I'm proper odd!!) :)
Not aimed at you matey ;) Yes we are all odd! especially when you see a fat
guy riding a rusty Colnago with massive BMX pedals and has enough chain wrapped
around the seat tube to tie down a battleship! Then goes into a shop without locking it.

when did you see me then ian? ;)

fat bloke.. on a rusty bike... bmx pedals... chain around seat tube.. not locking.. yup that's me ;)

on a serious note, im not going to put too much into this bike, its a bit too small for me lol so im saving the cash for a bigger frame/bike, I may keep it and do it up and let my brother take it for the odd spin here and there when I have free time to ride with him but im not sure, it was just meant to get me to and from work until I can get something else.

Paint will deffinately be coming off tomorrow - well ill try get most of it off. Wheels will be getting a scrub as theyre filthy and the rear brake cable is getting changed too.

I stand by what I said....

"painted by Stevie Wonder in the dark"

I mean, seriously, who takes a can of blue paint to a bike prior to stripping off moving parts like gear shifters??!! lol

Whoever painted it obviously knew feck and all about bikes, between that and painting over the frame tube sicker. A better class of baghead knows not to.

I'm tired of the shit which is thrown out by the odd member on this forum who either
pulls folks bikes down or bluntly tells people what they must do.
Raleighrider21! If the bike appeals to you mate and even if it has the wrong stuff
on it, who gives a sh*t! Its what enthrills us guys who love old steel bikes, either
high quality or the average bikes which gives them a new lease of life.

I'm going to kill my bloody Son when he gets in from work! I never wrote this and NEVER abuse members!

All I can do is apologise to the members I have offended, whilst in the meantime the Son will get it when he comes home.

Ian.

Ian,

It's fine. I did think it was somewhat out of character for you, and initially thought you'd been on the beer!

I needed a whiskey after I read the replies! Son is a c*nt  and thinks its funny, you see he uses
facebook a lot and uses his mates accounts and 'facebook rape' them! He says its funny but not in my eyes.

I've took the mickey out of folk on here, like the fella who 'lives' just down the road from me but never abused members.

Ian.
