Pace geek at work....

I asked the same questions of JustBackDated on this forum, who in turn got in touch with Dean the welder.

I bet he has some input into this

Mine's an F6 and I can confirm removable rear canti hanger ('cause it's been removed) though if by rear rack mounts you mean the little bolts about an inch up the seat stays from the dropouts – well mine has those :?

Your frame number ends in 137 (model F6 size 19")

It makes me think this might have been something removed mid way through the F6 run. Mine is F618048, so it's a bit earlier than yours. Think Neill's F6 is nearer to my frame so it might be worth checking to see if his has rack bolts.

Would imagine a company as small as Pace would implement changes during a model as well as when one changes though – that might be the answer

I will endeavor to sit down with Dean to see what he can remember-probably not a lot with his kebab and beer addled mind:LOL:
sorry Deano!

I think the difference between the RC100 & RC200 were you could have cantis on the RC200 and ofcourse the mono stay at the rear.

The F1 frameset also came with a Royce BB, rather than the Bullseye.

Also came with replacable dropouts which ran all the way through to the F8

Mine's an F1 and they adapted a brake rocker for the mono stay to run cantis.

Apart from that I don't know... :?

I thought the biggest difference between the RC100 and the F2 was the dropouts

Basically the 100 is a slightly slotted horizontal dropout, the 200 had the replaceable "bolt on" style which then followed through right up to the F8

Not even sure there was an F1 frame, I have owned 3 F2's and to my knowledge that was the frame that replaced the RC100

1" headtube, Canti mounts, Threaded BB, Square seat tube, Welded seat clamp and replaceable drop-outs ~ Oh yes, 2 in Gun metal and one in polished Alloy

Think that covers the F1/F2 :)
