That is a supremely shit execution, but cce is spot on. It's clearly getting used and that in my opinion is worth more than ten catalogue restos that spend all year hidden away in sheds.
Damn straight. Get the owner to put it into BOTM pronto

That's ok in my book. It's a low end bike which was built as a workhorse and being used as one ~ fair play! :) I even approve of the Sainsburys bag seat cover too; beats getting a soggy arse!

It really only deserved a Lidl seat cover

Spotted this (had a closer look having lost a blue GT, but not mine).
Couldn't believe that vandalism (or sh*t welding !).
Hope it was only an Outpost, difficult to tell under all that crap.

When I think that somebody went to such lengths so that they could give their child a rider's-eye-view while cycling, it makes me think it's one of the coolest bike adaptations I've ever seen. That's one lucky child who gets to ride in the front seat and hang on to the handlebars while his dad transports him! It's probably also the most protective stance a dad could take for his child while cycling, which makes me wonder why I've never seen anything like that before. I like it, and it gets my vote for father of the year.

I was just thinking it looked quite lethal, tbh. Not sure I'd want my son or daughter hanging on to the handle bars while I'm trying to ride. Might just be my kids though. :)

Must be a Dutch guy, or somebody who has visit the Netherlands. Here it is common practice:
Google "papa fiets"

there are aftermarket sets (so ou do not have to weld stuff onto our frame....) and there are the factory bicycles that are completel designed for this feature.

You can't show such things in Britain. Health and Safety will be round as soon as they have finished painting black and yellow stripe on the snow.
