Cannot believe I haven't seen this build Alec - looks as it is going to be another awesome build!

What is the plan here? m900 STI, brakes? Red seatpost? White flite?

I had a red-topped X-Lite seatpost on here in my sights, but that plan fell through so still looking for something with a red touch there. Alternative is totally black.

Brakes will be simple black LX, but with XT pads. Saddle a black Flite as always.
Probably re-issue Smoke and/or Dart tyres.
Just left the Red Hope hubs at my LBS to be laced to NOS Mavic 231s.
Probably a black Aheadset, not sure about King, as that would look a bit too huge on the svelt frame. I have Syncros Aheadset at home I may use.
Shifters/Brake Levers will be NOS M095s I have at home

My DOGS has a King 1" threadless headset and I think it looks OK.

It is no larger than any of the others I have used on other bikes.

My DOGS has a 1" King 2-nut, which looks OK to my eye, and I have a White Spider with (presumably) original King/WTB headset.

I think yours, Bollox, is a 1&1/8?

Bit early I would have thought, with a canti bridge and front mech pulley.

Anything is possible though.

Yes, mine is 1 1/8" Need to get a new steerer and Eurethane bumpers sorted from Pace

a few important parts arrived today, steerer tube and new elastomer bumpers from Pace, and a Race Face BB from the States

Still awaiting my wheels, as the LBS is of course crazy busy now that spring is close, and the X-Lite stem and Aheadset cap are getting matched up in size by a mate with a lathe, as the top cap was of course a mosquito's cock too big :facepalm:

Probably 1 month left if I'm lucky
