Looking through those catalogues i found that its only the '94 year onwards that has the rear brake cable noodle.

Can't find any other colour paint inside the tubes BUT it does have plum paint on the brake bosses which hints to a respray (its not powder) and also it's metallic plum red.

Just double checked the serial number and its deffo : 92 G 1787

I am leaning towards it being a '93 manufactured for '94 year Stumpy FS?

Anyone on here with a 1994 Stumpy FS that can confirm this??

Oh and there is no way i'm letting this go

Catalogues don't always tell the truth. Steel '93 Stumpjumpers used a noodle guide for the rear brake cable.

Look at this '93 Stumpjumper FS with a 92G serial number:

The 92G serial number is a frame built in 1992 for the '93 model year. The FS ("Future Shock") model had a 1 1/8" headset in '93, while the rigid model kept a 1" steerer.
