It's newly built for cyclists, great showers, drying rooms etc..have a look at their website or instagramCloister":230bqie3 said:What's the setup of "the bunkhouse"? This some kind of full metal jacket style army barracks arrangement? Before it got cancelled I'd managed to persuade 4 more people I work with the take part in MM and I'll probably let them know what's being touted as an alternative event. Just trying to get a picture in my head before they start asking me questionsyakboy":230bqie3 said:Ok, working on a possible rescue plan..it's early stages so need to guage interest before committing to anything. How do folks feel about a weeked riding in the home of "Dirt", Great Fryup Dale? My friends who own the Yorkshire Cycle Hub have space in their bunkhouse for 26 £35 a night with breakfast and may be a possibility of overspill camping (if the bunkhouse fills but only if) , there is conference room , where we could have evening showings of Retro films (Dirt, Chainsmoke etc) , there is a Dirt inspired mountain bike loop, they have also built their own forest trails. There is opportunity for a table top parts sale, or a show and shine...this is all hypothetical at the moment and for those in the South it's a fair trek up but riding in the tyre tracks of JMC could be a bit special.
What do you think...a goer or not, would need some interest before I commit.
Yep but It'll be worth it ....I realise it will be a stretch for our Southern brethrenlegrandefromage":32enfho9 said:Fluff me thats a long way away

I'm very tempted by the Fryup Dale weekend tbf as that's not far from me and I've been there a couple of times.
Plus I also have a nice JMC replica M2 which I could bring to add to the JMC theme lol :-D
