Mate being cheeky?

The unofficial uniform amongst all my pals is kilt, jumper and hiking boots.

Been that way for as long as I remember.

Love it, wherever we are in the world it is our calling card.

My biggest objection would be wearing a kilt I hadn't been to get properly fitted for.

My wife looks good in a kilt. She complains its ruff wool.

It takes all sorts I suppose.

That was about the most polite thing I could think of to say. Safe to say I'm not a fan. Archaic, parochial and naff. Tartan is for tourists on the Royal Mile.

I'd better stop here I think. :)

Yeah well you obviously have some kind of inferiority complex around being Scots.
I am a Scot.

No surprise there, given you are from a place where, I recently heard someone say, is the shame of Scotland all in one place.
As the country's biggest city that's inevitable. Especially given outside the central belt there's next to nothing but hills and sheep.

Although I gather places like Fraserburgh are trying hard.

Tell him to go f***

Kilt is Scottish for skirt. Do you really want to wear a skirt in public?

Next thing you know you will be covered in 'slap', and turning tricks down the dockyards with those sexual deviants known as 'MacRetro'.

Sort it before it's too late.

No it's bloody not Mikee.

The last skirmish involved too much strategic shaving, 'peep hole' pvc and tunnocks for my liking. The things you lot do with battered confectionary is enough to turn a man to drink.

Dark times that involved lashings of brain bleach.
