Marin Bear Valley 1990 - restoration project

My dad has a pristine Marin Bear Valley from some years later, STX RC on it and blue bits that came with it (and odd cantis).

Stick DX/XT mix on it. No point in putting the old lower down parts on a bick, not if you're going to ride it anyway.

If you don't mind moving forward 2 years then look at placing a few choice XTR parts on as well.

I've a 1990 Palisades and it too starts M90.xxxxx on the frame number.

I never found any paint to match the frying pan Zolatone, Zolatone in the UK is just a kind of vandal-proof industrial stuff and not the same. So I did mine in a nice metallic enamel.
