Re:

Well as from January its "Let the battle commence" on fighting the fat, ma belly and muffin tops are nearly as big as Keith's and am no happy about it and that's without bucket loads of beer :?

Re:

Gluttony for the next week
then it's time to start the fitness regime.
I definitely don't feel as fit as I did this time last year!

I'll get on the scales as soon as I've replaced the batteries (shows how long they've lain unused), I'm not expecting a disaster, but there's improvements to be made.
Planning to combine gym/classes with my smart turbo trainer during the winter, and introduce more bike riding once the evenings are lighter.

Re:

I'm due to start back at my martial arts classes on the 10th (I was at a wedding reception last night with one of my instructors and I made a promise) I've had a year off pretty well and its time to getting back to fighting and biking, when I get lights sorted out AND the nights start drawing out I plan to get back into commuting to work maybe not a full week like I used to but who knows. One last thing I MUST try and get 7 or 8 hours sleep a night and eat more regularly (little but often).

Re:

Weighed myself this morning. Back up to 93kg, only 1kg more than last month but 3kg above my summer low.
Doesn't help that we came back from monster in laws with a pile of unopened party food and pringles.

Re:

Hmmmm.... 79.2kg, not as bad as I'd feared, but still a few kg over my more "normal" weight of 75kg.

So, a little weight loss work to do perhaps, but I'm more interested in actually building some muscles and generally becoming fitter this year. Planning to do a couple of the SES enduro races and a few Sportive type events this year, I seem to do better when I have some kind of goal to aim for.

I'll update with any progress, but for now it's beer o'clock! ;)
