nice idea, I have stuff to, so will do the same- free sunday!!!!!

I am very definitely a very grumpy old bugger

Today I chastised a fellow cyclist for bringing cycling into disrepute, how sad I am :(

Descending Liberton Brae in Edinburgh on the BSA heading for 'TheBikeStation' when a guy on a mtb shot past me on the pavement to my left and then crossed the junction with the lights at red ! When the lights changed I chased him down and gave him a peice of my mind, he was in his 50's and seemed very deflated when I'd finished, I think I may have ruined his day :?

Was I wrong, I don't think so but I wish I'd just ignored the eejit !!!!!!

On a different note, no stems Gaz, sorry ;)

I got a Suntour X-1 rear mech, Suntour Thumbies and a genuine Crud Guard with all fittings for £7 :D They're all going on the Falcon Pathfinder which is becoming destickered and gaining front suspension, so far looking not bad

As for achieving stuff, I'm not sure but I do have more fully working bikes than I've had in ages :D

sounds like a bit of a bargain and no worries Jim has sorted me with a rather fetching stem :D

Lots of bike lots of choice no excuses is a good state of affairs.

I think you are in the right to say something however in your place I wouldn't have- jumped to many red lights to climb onto the moral high horse

Velo, you're not wrong but when you really let rip the trouble is you end up feeling crap about it too. So aye, really just as well shrugging your shoulders and letting them get on with it. Especially when you consider you could end up getting lamped for your trouble :?

So a night in the man cave doing some basic bits and bobs while daughter was out guising. Hardrock - New tensioner wheel on the Stinger (killed original at Kielder after over tightening it), fat tyres back on, plus I popped on the modern stem and wide bars too. Also put the Synchros stem and Easton bar on the iDrivel, and hooked up the XT shifters - still need to re-setup the mechs though.

I really need to get my arse in gear and get the Rockhopper paint stripped, I'm pretty sure that getting it painted was on my list of things to do for October

Going to nip up to the North Third tomorrow afternoon, see what that's like, either take the Hardrock or the Stumpy.
