That seatpost is a shocker :shock: , i'd definetely try for a claim there.
Just got my mits on this tonight, the cruiser/klunker project
Looks a bit cheap and nasty at the moment but stickers will be going as will the brake bosses, cable stops and rear bridge, will scotchbrite pad it for now (to dull it down a bit) but will eventually be painting it (blue and cream)
Have a set of battered Tange big forks to go on it, needing a 27.2 seatpost, a pair of frog leg canti's and idealy a single four finger brake lever, will be running it as a single speed with huge bars and a coaster brake.
Going to need a Brooks seat too, that'll probably be the most expensive bit on the bike

Found some wear in the bottom pivot on the Stumpie FSR so sent the stays off to BETD for repair, just bought a set of 80mm Marzocchi's for it too.
Not got any propper riding in since Thrunton/Dalby though :roll:
