So when are we meeting at Gaz's for a sample of these new trails?
Even if they dont warranty the post send it back and tell them ' as it barely missed yours, they can stick it up theirs' Though, do arses have arses? :?

We should have a mini meet at these new trails in July when Gaz gets back from his hols.

Warranty aside, you should bring in the trading standards boys about that seatpost, thats bloody awful for a mtb component and highly dangerous :shock:

road bike came out today for a pootle. blew the tyres up and realised it hasn't turned a wheel since the fred whitton in 08 anyway wee blast up to largs cleared the cobwebs and I forgot how much fun it is I commute on the fixed wheel but sometimes a blast with gears is better........or maybe just different in a nice way . And I reckon the stumpy is definitely for the chop

Meet at mine is very cool if you fancy the trip- if you get a date I can see if there is a pub stop that can be arranged and can also get a big DR S pasta fest sorted to (might not be as tasty :roll: ).

ach pee'in me off, needs a few more things fixed. The syncros preload for the stem is rubbish and the rear wheel needs new bearings as well as both wheels really needing new rims.It is definitely form over function too with that massive stem need changed and the build never really sat too well, again not really stumpylike. Fixed one problem and found three more. If I break it down sell a few bits I can have the FAT finished, the Salsa finished and maybe even start the Kona build. The Kuwahara is almost done and I'm not too sure were the stumpy sits with all these other bikes. Its kinda the same as the dale insamuch as I don't want to ride it/break it so really what use is it. I'm starting to appreciate what happens when people build bikes then immediately break them down and sell them :? whatever happens I'll keep the frame till I decide what to do.

Know what you mean about getting kind of lost in bikes and uses- going to get back to a couple of riders and bugger the buy/build/break cycle.

Do you want to try these new trails? Bring some bounce if so, tis a bit rough, but loads of fun.
