I have not said that all people on benefits etc. should be villified
You haven't been one of the worst although jokes about
"doleskin" lampshades shows a worrying lack of judgement on the matter.
Yes I never said anything about the above, get your facts right before you make accusations..............
And as to the colonialist saying this is my personal blog,I resent that as there are people on here who post far far more than I do.
And silverclaws, you are taking the whole thread as a sort of personal attack, you obviously have many issues and from what you have said have every right to your money, the whole issue is about the bigger picture of the idle scrounging sub culture as mentioned previously, and with that I am out, cant be bothered to argue with canadians or people north of the border either :x
Nope, I am not taking this thread as a personal attack on my personage for I dont care what the government does or says it is going to do for we all know sensationalism has a nasty habit of panning out into something very different when that sensationalism clashes with reality. For they seriously do not appear to know the facts and to carry on regardless they will create enemies in various quarters and what enemies translates as is votes lost come election time, they are cutting their own throats unless it is their true desire to divide the country into elitist and slave.
Why I get so involved and even sacrifice myself to whatever may come is purely because I am one of those people who fight for minorities, where I perceive injustice I get involved as a result many of my beliefs are contrary to accepted government inspired idealism, Yeah I may be a minority in my beliefs, but one thing I know, is my heart is in my beliefs and I would rather go down fighting for what I believe in than turn the other cheek when the big boys come out to play, for I cannot be bought.
It always used to irritate my ex when I took the minority view when situations were presented on the tv news, but that is my way, it always has been for I am fully aware of the politics involved when big stories hit the headlines and with that the hue and cry journalists hope to inspire, even a blood lust execution watching mentality. Tell me you can't have failed to notice that, and I am more than thankful we are not America, where blood lust can have a nasty habit of ending in a persons death whilst a prosecutor goes on into the political world and it's rich rewards.
People are the key, inspire the uneducated minions and a politician has made it, for they have control and control equals power, that thing many seek at all costs and perhaps the real reason we have ineffective leaders leading this country.
But I do understand there is a lot of anger in this country, some of that anger is justified, but certainly not the whole of it and I would like people to realise that for everything we have is the result of political meddlings, the loss of skilled trades right down to a welfare system that catches the unfortunate who have lost their employment due to said political meddlings, it is all the product of the powerful seeking the wealth to be had in it's easiest available form.
But as to the headline, what does cause a pinch of anger, is where it has been said the unemployed are to be
asked to give something back, for that clearly is not the case, for they are going to be threatened, do this or lose your benefits, there is a difference and a very big one at that.
But perhaps no one is seeing what I am seeing here, for there are criminal elements within the benefits system, there are criminals abusing the system, they are there just in the same way there are politicians ripping ff the expenses system, the system exists and it is always abused by some, that some being a minority as always, but we have a habit of seeing a minority and labelling the majority with the same crime. One does, so that means others might do also, tell me of the politicians caught cynicaly dipping into the public purse, you didn't think they were all at it, guilty until proven innocent, well it is the same for the benefit claimant, same situation, but perhaps more controlled than the politians expenses public purse.
What I am seeing here as I understand there are criminal elements at work in the welfare system, is those criminal elements going on to reap bigger but more risky rewards in the world of crime, that is criminal actions, theft, blackmail, forgery, extortion and plain old burglary on the population and with that we have already heard the government has cut the police funding with many job losses expected. A situation that makes no sense for one would think if there is a possibility of an increase in criminal or revolutionary aspects due to a policy, one would first strengthen the force charged with civil obedience, but the opposite has happened, the government have weakened it, why ? Are they plain just out of touch and therefore a danger to the fabric of society or is their an ulterior motive, for we all know they with their private security will never physically feel the wrath of an unhappy populace.
Perhaps it could be said that the welfare system actually contributes to crime prevention more than criminals reap rewards from it. Sometimes criminal actions do not come through choice, many are forced into it, as I am aware some normally law abiding people are struggling so much with the present situation they are taking risks with such things as road tax and car insurance.
Oh and just to add, my pal a schizophrenic, a very honest and friendly chap got assaulted by a chap for being honest when the chap asked him in normal conversation what he did for a living. My pal honestly replied on benefits and the chap just lashed out grumbling about bloody dole blaggers again. So it is happening the unemployed are becoming targets of people's frustration.
