Been looking through some of the old photos and i seem to have had quite a few Konas lol these are just some of them.
I had a real love hate with that 91 Explosif so much so i sold it (dumb thing to do lol) the new DX headset constantly kept coming undone, i fitted the wrong length stem and those Maxis tyres kept getting punctures everytime i went out and compared to that 92 Explosif Pro it just felt wrong so it went the journey.

I don't know how I missed this pic,, but I have been wondering about getting my black 91 Lava Dome repainted as Im not happy with the colour of a large patch I had to put in on the top tube.
Especially after seeing the stunning blue splatter I started wondering about the possibilities of the Purple and Light Green paints to do a splatter over the black but not sure if it would be too much.

I see the Purple is X-16, can I ask what the code is for the Light Green and if you have any ideas about a Black paint code?

The code for the green is X15 and for the black it's X1.

The purple is a funny colour i tried it on a black stem and i wasn't to sure so didn't want to risk doing a whole frame and forks and ended up doing the blue.
I think though that if it was less purple and more green it would probably work,thats the fun part of splatting you never really know how it's gonna turn out you've just got to go with your own gut feeling.
