Could they have been called Frogs for the Uk market/new stock arriving and Magnum in the U.S..?

They are listed here as frogs and of this larger earlier design Magnum in the U.S, Or that's how ive found them stateside, but here as shown by Ampro as frogs only, and I cant spot any differences....?

Roly does it give a year on the mag for the Ampro advert please...?

Re:

I hate to tell Roly he's wrong but they are Magnums like Shayne says. Rather than a bolt on pedal metal section they use a solid metal tube. The cleats are also slightly different and you have to machine the pedals down to get frog cleats to work with them, but we all did the moment frogs came out as the cleats were so much better!

I have some beebops somewhere as well, original ones not the modern ones - now they are special.

And Roly, i will eventually get that Browning system out and mounted on something, just what...

Pretty sure they were earlier 90s as I bought my first set from Magic Bikes when they were up in Whitechapel. I use frogs on all my MTBs so these early ones made sense!

And if anyone wants a set

You just need to file a few mm of each tang of metal on the pedal and a frog cleat will fit
