The frame fractured. I've decided not to post pictures because Trek have been fantastic and I'd hate to think some scumbag decided to try and get a new bike from them by trying to force a similar failure.

I worked at a Triumph dealership when I was at college at the time the first Daytona 595 bikes were coming out. There was bit of a kerfuffle about a frame so it had to be replaced. I had to strip bike, saw the headstock off which went back to Triumoh so they could re-issue the same frame number then build the bike up again. I did have a nice piece if sculpture in the living room for a while :LOL:
 
I was actually just wondering about hanging it on the wall, but I think it would look a mite too tatty.
