I built a CRO-MEGA update #1

Here's a quick build I did yesterday afternoon/evening as I felt I needed some R&R time, and I got a bit carried away.
Some may recognise the frame as Johnboy's, the decals by Gil_m and awesome paint by Woodsman.

The frame is a 92 cro-mega DX re done in 91 al-mega XT colour/style.

Then I got carried away and put some parts on it........
The stem will be changed for a black, and the wheels may well get swapped out.
Oh and I know the green crank spider is a bit odd.

So there you go, I know there are a couple of things still to do, but meh, still a little sun in the sky for pictures

What not fits to me is low end casette maybe You should look for some classic silver casette with red label on bigest ring?

Nice, I think it looks better as a retro build than my modern take on it Niall. The paint was by Woodsman. Oh, and just to be pedantic, it's a '92 Cro-Mega DX in '91 Al-Mega XT colours. Nitpicking on Retrobike, who ever heard of such a thing .

Front mech is waiting for a longer mounting bolt,should be here today/tomorrow.
Agree about the low end cassette, but its new and does the job. Will be riding this so can change/upgrade at a later date.

It looked great as a modern build bud, think you did it proud, its rare that a frame can work both mod and classic. This does both I think.

Quick update, Fitted a control tech stem that I got in the post today (thanks MrKawasaki)
Like it much better, just the front mech bolt and grips to go then take it for a spin at the weekend
