Help on shipping spokes from the USA to Europe

Perhaps an other thread already exists for this 'problem'..., but  I haven't checked RetroBike for a while..
...but I'm back... couldn't resist the addictive old habbit and hope to finish my '95 Ibis eventually...

I was on my way to check out on the site of Bikewagon for a bunch of spokes. They would cost me $70,=.... and than the shipping costs popped up... $60,= In the past I had US-mail for far less than that.

Can one of you retrobikers in the US help me out and put those things in a simple box and ship 'm to Europe for nice price ?

Of course I'll pay the total (through PayPal): spokes + shipping to your place + shipping to my place.

Thanks in advance !!

I want the Ibis to be built up completely with USA parts, so the spokes should be Wheelsmith's...

Can anyone send 'm to Europe for me ?
...or does anyone know where to buy 'm in Europe ?

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
There is a long list of EU national distributors and dealers on wheelsmiths/hayes home page....... might be worth a few phone calls/emails rather than $60 in postage!

Re:

Thanks for all the info, but the links in the post reply above give the same kind of shipping costs.

I asked the Dutch import trader, but they didn't sell spokes, only wheels with Wheelsmith spokes....

Since BikeWagon is the only store where I can buy spokes in the amount I need (not only bags of 50) I had some mail communication with BikeWagon and the strange thing is that they do ship a box with 72 DT spokes for $16 to the Netherlands, but when I order 72 Wheelsmith spokes (in the 3 different sizes I need) the shipping costs are $62. They told me that it's rather strange, but that they couldn't change the system with which they determine the shipping costs.

Is there any RB'er that want to buy the spokes that I need in the US and send them over to my place ?
Of course I pay for all the expenses.
