No worries. As the shim is going to be really thin I’m thinking that stainless might be a better option as an aluminium one might collapse during the fitting. Anyone know what the “normal” tolerance is for a headset/headtube fit?

Finished the shim today and fitted it this evening.

Anyone got a 6mm, 1” 1/4, black headset spacer? I could cut the headtube down but I really rather not!

Just started on another funk myself, hopefully be bringing it to the malverns classic, are you going?

I’ve been considering it as I’m beginning to think I might get this finished this year. Just need to to persuade @Rog to part with a set of rims and @scant to sell me his seat post and we’re done(ish).

Took my funk to Malvern last year. Had a great time with it. The yellow, orange fade one that was there was beautiful
