Venetro Spectrum

Hi everybody,

First post on retrobike. I'm looking for information about this road Veneto Spectrum I bought a few weeks ago. The geometry is quite similar to the Peugeot Outdoor even the colors. This Veneto is a steel frame cromoly 4130 with 3x7s Nexave, mini tektro v-brakes. Any information about year. I would be happy to find a catalogue of this model.

The Veneto brand was acquired by Orbea in the nineties. I'm not familiar with their sales strategy at the time, but the bikes may have been available solely though large resellers, such as El Corte Inglés or other chain stores, so you may have to look for their brochures and catalogues.

The paint job makes it early 00's. It's a hybrid, not a road bike.

I knewn it wasnt a road bike. As the Peugeot catalogue, there are hybrid bikes. Do my post is in the wrong place ?


Also true ! There are plenty of room on the frame and fork for wider tyres.

I don't think so. There isn't a hybrid forum AFIK, and all other Venetos I have seen were road bikes.

What are your plans with it?
