First retro roadbike - 1970's Puch Mistral

From memory Suntour chainset, front & rear mechs, & gear levers Maillard hubs/ Mavic rims, some had Weinman some Universal brakes ( model dependent) ITM or no name bars & stem, no name seat post, various makes of Italian saddles Vittoria Tyre's & tubes.

Sounds about right;
- Suntour Chainset & Mechs, check, (though rear mech is currently Shimano).
- Weinneman brakes, check.
- Suntour bars and stem, check, (I have original stem).
- Seatpost has a set of initials on it, 'GJ' I think.
- Wheels have been replaced with Weinnemann, and I put the Conti tyres on as I want a useable bike rather than 100% original.
- Saddle, tempted to get an original 'Turbo' type saddle, or a Brooks.

I think you did fantastic work with that seatpost. I'm still struggling to believe they're the same!!
