Fausto Coppi San Remo

Hi all,

Looking at picking up this Coppi San Remo. Looks like mostly original parts other than the switch to flat bars, will likely change to drops. Mainly looking at buying for the upcoming Dunwich Dynamo and then selling after (I’m more of a mountain bike rider). Are these half decent bikes? I’ve only ever owned older steel road bikes, believe this is Alu with carbon fork.

Would be great to get opinions on it! Do you think it’ll be easy to sell post ride?

They've always had a bad rep for the paint oxidising with the aluminium, usually it'll bubble easy to spot. Happens on my Colnago Dream so not unique. Probably would avoid if it was more than a few spots of it.

Check under the bottom bracket mines went frothy there first

Unfortunately not! My friend broke his wrist so couldn't make it. I think we’re planning to do 2025 though
