I found this old Raleigh whilst fishing on the bay this week http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dyna-tech-roa ... 1835064730 after contacting the owner I snapped it up and got in the shed last night.
I didn,t know to much about the Dyna Tech but after doing a bit of research I found a 1990 catalogue in the RB Archives which gave me the spec list, however I don't think this is a 1990 model as it dosen't have the mono stay (can anyone shed any info on this model ?) the Frame number is quite cool B 170004 is it a MK2 ?.
After stripping the bike down I gave the frame a good clean and T-cut and apart from the usual Patina of scratches and chips some heavy the paint work and most of the decals where in good order
The Bicycle came with a mismatch of parts Scott Aero bars, campag chain set and front mech,105 headset, rear hub laced to open 4cd , and dual pull brake set and gear levers as well as a very nice cinelli 1R stem
After reading the spec list of the 1990 model I saw that they where all 6400 equipped and also could be supplied F&F only deal, with this in mind and of photos I've see of other non mono stay frames I came up with a plan to reset the bike to a factory spec or as close as…
