A little more research about Rebour, he worked from home for the most part (I reckon he couldn't afford an office) and lived a stonesthrow, 500m from La Defence in Paris in this ground floor of a kinda shabby looking 60's block of flats. He married and had one daughter who now administers his archive.
Such was the lot apparently for unappreciated illustrators of the era. As said up thread the unionised scribblers who were writing the copy for his adverts and magazines were earning 3x what Rebour was paid for his meticulous drawings and cartoons.
