Daniel Rebour - Illustrator. Who's your favourite cycling illustrator/Cartoonist?

it saddens me to no end that he has departed this world in search of a more peaceful place.

he has left his great collection of photographs & modeled scenes for us to enjoy.

he rode his bike as long as his legs would allow, and in the end his world shrunk to the one he created.

his imagination & craftsmanship stood as his legacy.

A couple of examples of work by Hitomi Kazuya. Most of his art follows two fairly obvious themes, one of which is high end carbon bikes and the other you can probably guess at.

Note the assembly #1: front light, great stick shifter, speedometer, gear indicator, controls for lighting and bike lock all integrated into one.

Note the ahead stem, looking exactly like a contemporary stem. Dynamo actuated by discrete lever, battery pack for lighting located in handlebars.

fantastic. not only the artwork, but subjects, too.

Q: anyone know the reason behind shaping the front fender as in post #98, figure #9?

looks snazzy, but i didn't know if it's to represent something other than a little panache.

thanks
