Can someone talk brake discs to me?

I would strongly recommend modern disc brakes as long as you have to buy them, as they work Sooo much better, and at a quick glance you won't notice a huge difference in looks between new and old school brakes. I personally use XTR discs, but they are pricy and require XTR HUBS, but the XT ones work just about as well and bolt up to six hole hubs-the Avid Juicy brakes work well also and aren't too expensive. YOU WANT TO AVOID mechanical discs, as they don't work nearly as easily or as well.

I have xtr disc brakes and Chris King hubs...?

Thanks for the help people!! :D

Given me something to think about when on holiday :D

Shimano do 2 types of rotor, one is the 'centrelock' version which needs a cassette tool to fit/remove, the other is the industry standard 6 bolt pattern (I'm talking modern here, not retro!), which is why you can only use Shimano hubs with the centrelock version, you can use any 6 bolt hubs with the 6 bolt pattern ones.

If you're going modern (assuming you have the correct mounts) Formula Oro get great user reviews.

Ah, thought you meant disc brakes and not rotors...
