Hi all.
Here's some new pictures to add to the thread seeing as Endeavour #2 has now been entered into the January 2025 BOTM
The only change from it's last update are the addition of the correct Campagnolo pedals.
Maybe the quick release skewers would look better if they were changed to the grey rubber handled ones....but for now, the fully Campagnolo spec, albeit slightly different from Catalogue is complete. Only the headset is non - Campagnolo, but these Dynatechs were originally specced with the Tioga avenger 1 1/8"
The other update to this thread is the known number of Raleigh Dynatech Endeavours now standing at 8.
As this is the go to thread for this particular model, Bernard74's example above now belongs to
@Mickael49 . His build thread is here -
https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/raleigh-endeavour-1991.487089/
Mickael's is a complete example with original catalogue spec and Campagnolo Electa saddle.
Interesting that the colour is slightly different to mine again....the rear triangle and head tube similar to my Endeavour #2 but with the tube colours of Endeavour #1
Maybe this reflects the custom nature of this particular model in that there is an inconsistency of colours.
Endeavour #1 has had the rear triangle and head tube repainted but this was colour matched. The main tubes are original paint.
Endeavour #2 was professionally colour matched before a complete bare metal respray. The forks retain the original decals that have been clear coated over.
The respray is accurate to it's original colours, so it's interesting seeing Mickael's example differs again. I did think that #2 could possibly be a prototype as the frame number is a slightly different format and still has a mudguard mount on the inner chain stay but has all the other custom features of the other Endeavours... But now seeing the inconsistency of colours, it's more likely that this is just an oddball one as they have unique custom features over the standard 2070 frame that was the Odyssey. The Voyager model used a 2060 tube set.
Cheers
