boy"O"boy's 1991 Raleigh Dynatech Endeavour x2!!

I know these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0are for road callipers but could be worth a punt if you are prepared to adapt them and subject to the threads being the same and the surface area similar, reusing your existing bolts? Could even use with the protrusion at the bottom still on there. In the past I didn’t like the price of replacement Dura Ace AX brake pads and managed to adapt some similar pads to fit. Some work with a hacksaw and some sandpaper and you couldn’t tell I had removed some material.

Campagnolo pedals - I’m still after a single dust cap for an Olympus pedal, still refusing to pay £30 for a plastic copy.

Hi all.
Wanted to add these pics to the Dynatech Endeavour thread.

Before Christmas 2022, at work we held a 'Proud Creators day' - an event where employees could showcase their interests/hobbies/talents/creativity outside of work.
My showcase was for Bike restoration and Wheel building.
Endeavour #2 was displayed along with a board to explain the process of how I got there. I also did a demonstration of wheel building.
For non- bike people, it was good to see how well the Dynatech was received, and for Glenn who did the clearcoat for me (and several of my other bikes!)....... it was nice to show him a finished product!

Thanks Ibbz! - I got the feeling that the audience appreciated the effort involved with restoration but the rarity value was lost. It excited one chap to relive his old race spectating days though! - he remembered several of the '91 Raleigh mtb race team.
AS for riding it....only me! But then it was down the corridor at work and through the studio!

In a work place of creatives, you get a wide spectrum of different talents! In the summer they also have an employee classic car show which gets 60+ entrants.

The finished article looks stunning. Great work
Cheers! Slightly different from Factory spec this time but reverted to a flexstem to complete the 'look'

Not a problem. Loads of pics in this thread for General consumption. The added bonus being that there are 2 of these! (7 known survivors now)
