Best / favourite / best made Canti brakes from 90ies

I quite like the Suntour XC Pro's with SE rear, as said they work well when set up but are more fiddly than others... 19mm cone spanner required! I am thinking of swapping to something more modern that require less tools, and have a road style cartridge pad (instead of the standard canti post type) for ease of swapping pads

You can get cartridge v-brake and shorter m-type (55mm?) 'post' studs setups, I use the v-brake type on all my cantis.

M900 with Swisstop Blue BXP in Jagwire CX pad holders are REALLY good and pads hardly wear on non-coated brake tracks. Don't know what they are like on ceramic etc . Can be noisy at times but makes for a good early warning device!

I’d say M732 canties are hard to beat but M900, M735 & 987s are not far behind and clear the heels much better.

Honorable mention to Machine Tech Zero-Flex canties which work as well and look so sweet

The machine tech batwings are lovely. I regret selling mine, the levers are also very cool.

Xc pro and dia compe are also good choices.

Controltech look great, another retro part I wish I'd hung on to, but if I'm honest, I prefer v brakes, even on retro frames.

No mention of pederson brakes. I had a few sets and they look cool and seemed to work pretty well.

Onzas were made of cheese.

Recently had some deore LX, nice in black, swapped over to v style pads as mentioned by fluffy. They worked and weren't too difficult to dial in. I think toe in on pads is important on cantis, not so much on v brakes.

At this point: Shout out to the Grafton loverboys. How much pieces of non working shit do you want for your stacks of money? Just cause they bling so nicely in color and make you feel so very special :-D :-D ;-)
