Anyone in contact with RAFbikes?

Re:

Ok i envisaged the classic car was a 60s mg or triumph.

It seem to be 4wd toyota celica turbo? Googling the engine bay there is a fair bit if stuff to remove before the engine becomes visible then its relatively straight forward. Ohc complicates it as the timing gear needs to be locked (ive only worked on ohv).

My offer stands, Let me ask in car forum i frequent to find out more and how to lock timing.

The bulk of the work can be done, if we gef stuck re timing, reassrmbly then you mentioned you knew someone who could do that bit.

My only slight concern is why the hg blew, if block or head need skimming then i cannot do that.

Thank you so much for the offer but I think I'm going to wait until I can afford to get my mate at Toyota to take it into work as it's a really good one and if I get the rebuild all certificated by Toyota it will help it regain it's value. Most of the vehicles we were doing were 60's 70's and 80's but that GT-Four was my favourite and the only one I've never tinkered with myself as at 22 years old it's just to modern!

This is the baby, been stood up for a few months now but only a polish away from being this pretty again (oh and of course an engine rebuild) when I get to a point where I can get her back on the road I will be in much higher spirits it's not worth enough to warant selling it with a blown head gasket but when it's fixed it could really get me out of the shit or hopefully it won't have to and I can keep my baby.

Staf.

Re:

Ok, no probs.

One question asked was are you sure it is head gasket? Apperently the head gasket fitted by toyota is some fancy metal sandwich that hardly ever gives trouble.

Yes, it is a good idea.

I am still waiting for the articles I paid on 8th of March 2016. Two months waiting I think are a lot.

According to RafBikes said here in this post, after he appeared and showed us his apologies, on 22nd of April 2016 I wrote to him in order to remember him the articles I paid him and my shipping adress. He replied me and told me that in a few days he would send me the articles. After waiting for the confirmation of the shipping and the tracking number during several days but without receiving nothing, I wrote him by PM again, but since then I continue without having received any answer and I am still waiting for the articles. I wrote to RafBikes a PM again on 28th of April 2016 about this issue, but he hasn't received this PM yet because this PM is still in my "Outbox folder"...

Articles not received after two months since payment.

We hope this issue ends well. It's difficult not to get disappointed with situations like this.
