Change saddle for something more slender and go rigid

What's the frame size?

it's a 17"
yup saddles going as soon as me "dad" re-covers the ones i gave him
and the wheels are to be changed
it looks okay in the pics ,but looks odd in real life ,i think the small headtube's to blame ,i think it's too small so may offer up for swaps for a
19" one or similar kona or so frame

a-head stem doesn't help either - too much bulk at the front end

My daughter has 17" c16 with threaded h/s and it looks lighter at the front. Double bridge on your rc35s adds to the clutter - but what do I know :D

Mikee, your bikes too small for you, thats all there is to it.

When the bars sit well below the saddle your asking for neck pain and a likely over the bars incident in the near future

I've set my limit at 20" for a frame provided its about 23" or longer with the top tube. Anything smaller tends to look like that Orange of yours and is bloody uncomfortable.

On a different point I've built up the Pantera as a single speed. Blooming stiff frame makes for lightning acceleration but boy to you feel every jolt through the frame. Juries out as to my long term relationship with it but it gets its baptisement of fire at Whinlatter next weekend with the NWA&Wales lot :D
