Cheers Gazz. I'm doing the miles to keep alive the LEJoG dream for later on, or at least the MacRetro C2C if it happens, but I'm getting unwelcome developments from my right knee. It is now making clear crunchy/sticky type noises from the kneecap area when I straighten it, like a Lion Bar being snapped in half.

But disregarding that... anyone still up for the Dingwall-Ullapool offroad thing?

Bumped into haggis and his good lady doon Glentress the day! It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it, etc...

Rob, how'd you get on in the SXC the day? I bumped into a couple at the top of Spooky Woods climb who'd either ridden the course previously, or knew someone that had... anyway, they reckoned it was rather good.

Well I completed it, Jesus it was warm not a beath of wind
All rideable, bone dry, one rectum movin down hill bit :shock:
I was hyper ventalating on the first lap (nerves) 3 in total for us
old guys. Im into the technical stuff I think even on a hard tail, Ive
had a good long break from MTB racing and their all kean on the full
susy stuff now (poofs). The race started at 11.00am and I was in my car on my way home by 1.30pm, I didnt wait around for results as my arse
was oot the windy. Did I enjoy it, yes at the time probably no, would I
do it again yes
I'll get some results ASAP but some bugger will beat me to it aaagh Mr P

Well in rob, sounds cool and I get the feeling a lot of racing is enjoyed after the event if that makes sense. When's the next one?

Had a nice run out today with cam and the bairn on the back as well as a scoot round the woods with my new light- it's f@cking scary in the woods at night, no doing that again!
