And today I did......

Just in the door from SSUK 2016 in Coventry.
Left on Friday morning at 4.am and back just now Sunday 8pm.
1189 miles and about 26 hours in a car driving. It was worth it but it was wet and very muddy :)

Re:

Yeah I'd be very interested to see some words and photos from SSUK 2016 :)

Early start at work meant an early finish, so got my Orange back to a rideable state, should have time to test ride it tomorrow. I think the last time I rode it was the Pentlands Macretro ride!

Jamie I'm expecting your usual high standard of write up on your wkend :)

Aye indeed. a braw writer is Jamie :D

King O the write ups

Just back on line
System crashed totally and ive been trying to work out what went wrong before taking whatever step was required.
Still don't know what caused it. Likely soft thinks agent nonsense, its always been a bit touchy.
A re installation of W10 op was all. Thought I might have lost all the important bits.
But sorted now. Usual stuff to install but happy just to be here :D

Re:

Tonight that's me got two builds converted to tubeless, one on tubeless ready rims and the other on tubed rims. All in aid of product testing under laboratory conditions :?

Personally, im going to say this tubeless business is a complete waste of time, money and patience.
Just another 'latest thing' the industry to sell us.
And ,maybe not here but on other forums theres a myriad of issues being discussed.

Tearing tyres :? the mess, and the fact they leak air.

To save how many grams ?
Give it another year and they'll be plugging us tubes again. And no doubt the benefits of 26" tyres over 27 or 29"
I cant wait to hear that one

mmm values, latex and gaffer tape

vs several inner tubes, not had a puncture in two years, whilst running a lower volumes (which on road do feel a bit heavy, but gid off road)

wouldn't bother on the road mind you, not with modern road tyres
