Thats the answer i got of a helfrauds mechanic when i jokingly asked why the outer chainring was so small.
He had a beard,so must know what he's talking about.
On-One is coming on a bit Still the elusive cranks. Just picking up the lock on grips in the next hour.
Always seems to me when building, that certain parts make it look more complete ,despite being a minor bit :? Grips for instance. Bike looks completely naked and unusable without them.
A bit like a seatpost. Complete except for it, and it looks almost like its only 1/2 done.
Did the Methlick Cycle Challenge today, a charity ride, 70 miles of maoinly off-road riding, did it on the singlespeed, feeling it now!
Beer and curry to the rescue!
Fo9und them on ebay a few years ago Jamie. Seems i was the only bidder so go them for something like a fiver posted.
Obviously custom, yet i havent ever seen a monogrammed pair before. Maybe he worked for them :?
Up in nethy bridge on holibags, changed the headset bearings on my anthem this morning followed by some exploration on foot in the forest at high burnside at aviemore, some proper bike trails in there by the looks of it. Long climbs on fire road with black grade downs. Be taking the bike for a look I reckon.
Heard about those Keith. Kaiser was pointed in that direction as well, when asking on STW. Seen a couple of vids as well, looks good.
Enjoy your holiday mate.
Was talking to someone today who reckoned there were plans to build some trails in the Aviemore area. I forget where exactly he said now, but supposedly something similar to the trail centre at Glenlivet (that's not far away, you should try it).
