Ooooooooh , I do hope not! At least for me.

Mine is just not retro enough

I'll bring a retro and a modern next year I reckon. Just to see the difference in my times.

my plan too.

Evans have just left a message. Bike is at store. But won't be ready till Tuesday. Rang them, spoke to the usual jobsworth then spoke to supervisor and discussed their warranty policy re letting out bikes in boxes etc. So what if i'd had it delivered to here? Anyway long and short of it is will be ready Sunday morning. If i'd taken the box today i would void the warranty and have to sign a waiver to that effect. Still don't see how that sits with home delivery being available, unless they were going to ride it here.

Ah well. Sunday is a another country. Of modernity, hydraulics, speed and adrenalin. SRAM tomorrow!

Re:

Well if we all bring 29ers and 26ers, we can be the 69ers! No?

Mike

A thought for Mayhem. Your 29er v your oldest mtb. What's the age difference? Mine would be 30 years! That would be something.

Anyway. Back to the tyres. The Severn Bore 69ers can wait. So far, a pair of beavers for the winter. Or a beaver on the back and a chunky monkey on the front? Loving the mammalian MAMILS
