29er winter tyre recommendations?

Not sure if the magazines rate them but I use Bontrager Mud X's, Nobby Nics and some Contis on my 26" Dekerf and can honestly say the Smorgasbords are cracking. Oh, and they're cheap.


Ultimately it depends on your local conditions as I've used tyres that get great reports on forums that I found sh*te.
