1996 GT Zaskar

I've had this Zaskar frame knocking around for a few years now, life generally getting in the way of doing anything with it. It's pretty beaten up, seen a fair few miles, and judging by the components that came off it seen a fair few upgrades too (that's if it came as a complete bike).

Parts wise, lined up some M737 (ish) XT, obligatory Kore stem and bars, an old Syncros seatpost.

Rare as 96 as that’s the only year they did anodised Red. They look great built up with silver XT M737/9 and yellow Judys.

I’ve got one which has changed builds a few dozen times but now is done. Silver XT bits , silver Kore , GT Hadley hubs and Judy SL.

Wheels... M737 hubs, need to source some 32h rims (got some X517's, but not sure if that are too modern for it... ).

Tyres will be black wall, let's see what's laying about when the wheels are finished.

Gold Judy XC's are destined for this, if I can sort out the random internals.

Gold XC is really what it should have but I just like the yellow contrast.

217 is the probably closer in age but 517 isn’t too far out.
