Once A Hero":3dsdoxv3 said:
Apart form the cage colour (and condition), those pedals don't look too dissimilar to the Direct Drive Comps I have on my '93 & '94 Stumpjumpers (see for yourself via the links in my signature). I'm not sure what differentiates the variants :?

Yeah, I’d say they were the same too looking at it, apart from the colour as you say. Thanks!

Re:

Couple more parts of the puzzle have arrived...

Also managed to pickup an original set of bars, grips & stem from a 95 Stumpjumper over the weekend as well as the all important bottle cage!

The frame definitely has some nicks and scratches (as can be seen!) but Im going to ride it, not hang it so I dont care to much. Debating whether to replace the decals with fresh ones from Gil and leave the paint as is or just leave all as is and give it a good clean and grease before getting back out on it and making the most of this weather!

On a side note - I need a set of wheels if you can help...

Re:

Small update...

Rest of the parts turned up over the last couple of days so got to work. Unfortunately the guide pin for the new chain snapped whilst putting it in! My chain tool is knackered now so off to the local bike shop before I can get the gears cabled up.

Its not mint by any stretch but I cant wait to get out again and just ride. Spec sheet will follow soon.
