There’s something about these titanium bikes- the look, the ride, the weight. I experimented with my first Merlin clean up and build last year. Enjoyed working on the bike and enjoyed riding it even more. It was my go to vintage mtb rider. The more I rode it, the more I realized it was too big and I needed a smaller size. Fast forward to last month and I found a similar condition frame in a smaller 16.5, very reasonably priced. So I thought what the heck why not clean up the new frame, swap the parts over and then sell the 17.5. Going to take a little more time on the frame clean up.
