I have a M1000 that I had up for sale, but no takers. So decided to give her a bit of an update.

Bike was all original apart from the rear wheel that had been swapped out for a Mavic (with a non suntour hub).

I had some coda cranks and blue annodised Dia Compe cantis that I had had on a Dale KV900, so decided to use those as a base to bring the blue out that are in the decals. This lead to blue cables aswell.

Upgraded groupset to 8spd XT front and rear derailleurs with LX levers and shifters, new seatpost and mavics on black LX hubs to give a darker feel to the colour scheme. Plus a fresh set of unused Megabite/Alpha bite tyres.

Very happy with the end result, shifts a lot nicer and feels much tighter.

Yes, I have had a few Cannondales, and this one has no oxidisation of aluminium under the paint. Few marks as to be expected but in great condition. To me they are beautiful bikes.
