1990 Fire Mountain Headset

Good morning what headset was used on the above I see in the achieve that it just says sealed tech, is it possible to buy new or similar? I just want the seal that goes in the top nut as mine is destroyed. I want to try and get this bike up and running again and this seems a tricky part to source. I've seen in some pictures that some use an o-ring, is this something people that have these trusty old steeds do?

I got a new tange sealed bearing headset from Spa Cycles for my Explosif. There are loads of models online depending on what your budget is. Try Sjs cycles

I was looking more to use the original but really want to replace this seal! Might see if I can find an o ring at work as anything is better than a torn seal!

I should imagine someone will have one spare somewhere, just a matter of waiting, though they do get damaged quite easily over time.

You could always buy a top nut, plenty with the seal still intact, whether it will be an exact match is questionable, though i am sure they will show you it first

Cheers I will look at that later. Anything will do as long as it gets it back together. Just trying to keep it useable
